Chef Ismael Torres

Founder and Executive Chef of Rough Chop, Chef Ismael Torres built his career from the ground up, beginning in professional kitchens as a teenager and working his way through multiple culinary roles before becoming an Executive Chef and launching Rough Chop.

His approach is rooted in one belief: food should be more than something served on a plate. Every menu should have purpose, every ingredient should have a role, and every dish should tell a story.

Today, Chef Ismael brings that philosophy to private dinners, weddings, and special events throughout Southern California.
